Terms and Conditions

Confidentiality: The counseling psychologist will maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information shared during counseling sessions, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to oneself or others, as required by law, or with the explicit consent of the client.

Professional services: The counseling psychologist will provide professional counseling services to the best of their abilities, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and adhering to ethical guidelines set forth by their professional association.

Client responsibility: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information to the counseling psychologist, including any relevant medical history, psychological conditions, or medications being taken.

Termination of services: Either the client or the counseling psychologist may terminate the counseling relationship at any time. The counseling psychologist reserves the right to terminate services if the client fails to comply with the terms and conditions, engages in harmful or unethical behavior, or if the psychologist determines that the client’s needs would be better served by another professional.

Limits of services: The counseling psychologist will provide counseling services within the scope of their training and expertise. If the client’s needs extend beyond the psychologist’s capabilities, appropriate referrals may be made to ensure the client receives the necessary care.

The client acknowledges that counseling involves exploring sensitive and personal topics, which may evoke strong emotions or discomfort. The counseling psychologist will strive to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Legal and ethical obligations: The counseling psychologist will adhere to all applicable laws and ethical guidelines, including mandatory reporting obligations in cases involving suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or harm to self or others.
